A big Fraser Coast welcome to Tom Jack, the new Head Chef at COAST

Fraser Coast Foodies welcome the new head chef at COAST Restaurant and Bar - Tom Jack.
Tom's background includes roles as Head Chef at Deer Duck in Auchenflower, Lychee Lounge in West End, and more recently at Restaurant Two in Edward Street Brisbane CBD.


At COAST, the culinary bar has been set at a high level for many years, with outgoing Head Chef Nick Street Brown having done a superb job in putting Hervey Bay well and truely on the foodies map of Queensland.

Tom has a high standard to preserve, and we look forward to seeing his influence in the COAST kitchen.

One of Tom's first challenges will be COAST's special Valentines day dinner service:

Four Course Menu $80/head- includes a red rose for your table. 

- scallop, smoked avocado, cucumber, spiced chickpea, 
- ponzu-duck breast, kale, cherry and yuzu jam, 
- kohlrabi-farm house cheese, quince, muscatels, 
- apple-creme brûlée, mandarin, maple bacon, pumpkin
